Hi! I’m Noah.
Finding the right therapist is a challenge, but once you do, something just clicks and you can really get to work. I try to find that feeling with all my clients. I believe that the therapeutic relationship is the main tool we can use to work toward your goals. As your therapist, I aim to support you in understanding yourself better and making changes that feel in line with your values.
Being vulnerable and open can feel scary. I take a non-judgmental approach with all my clients no matter what they bring to the therapy space. Listening carefully, reflecting back, gentle challenges, and infusing all parts of the process with compassion (and sometimes humor!) are my style. My clients experience deeper insight, improved symptoms, and a sense that I am truly on their team, cheering them on in life.

Specializations
I specialize in the following areas:
Transgender issues. I am passionate about supporting trans and nonbinary clients as well as family members of trans people. I am proud to offer trauma-informed therapy to all members of the LGBTQIA+ community.
Improving relationships. Whether with friends, family, or partners, we can work together to untangle what’s going on in your relationships and find healthier ways for you to show up.
Resolving trauma. I use the therapeutic relationship to walk alongside you on this journey. Some clients request that we do EMDR together to help resolve distressing traumatic memories.
Life transitions. We often need extra support when things are changing all around us.
I received my MSW and Trauma Certificate from Simmons University in Boston MA in 2020. Since then, I worked as a Behavioral Health Clinician at Boston GLASS, a non-profit serving LGBTQ+ youth of color, for two years. Next, I worked as a Mental Health Counselor at St. Michael’s College for two years. I am highly attuned to what young people, especially those from marginalized communities, are facing in our world today.
I am trained in EMDR, Relational Cultural Theory, and Acceptance & Commitment Therapy. I also use elements of CBT and IFS therapy when appropriate. I am experienced in Intimate Partner Violence (IPV) work and volunteered at an LGBTQ-focused IPV hotline for three years.
As a social worker, I am trained to view you not as a diagnosis or a pathology, but as a person doing their best within their environment and systems. I am committed to taking an anti-oppression stance in all my therapeutic work and I make sure to continue my education as often as possible by attending trainings, staying connected to community, reading, and engaging in local activism and organizing.
My most recent completed training (October 2024): Culturally Tailored ACT, Targeting Black Racial Trauma
My next training: Clinical Practice With Consensually Nonmonogamous People

When I’m Not Being a Therapist…
I love to make art, read thrillers, cook for my family, and explore Vermont with my dog. I have a background in printmaking and fiber arts. I spend time in the local arts community in the South End often, so say hi if you see me!
